Fundraising Ideas
1) Annual Walkathon
The annual walkathon, taking place on October 6th, is our largest fundraising event this year and we are aiming to raise $21,000. You can donate HERE (and thank you!) We ask for each student to raise $55 but any donations are greatly appreciated!
The goal of this fundraiser is to meet the majority of funding needed for the school year. Your donations benefit all of the Orchard Lake students. The PTO has five main categories for the 2023/24 budget and your donations will be going towards the following:
-Academic spending: 22%
- Parent-Student social activities: 23%
- Teacher Goodwill: 19%
- Student goodwill: 33%
- PTO Operational spending: 3%
While our Walkathon at the beginning of the school year is our primary means of fundraising, there are other ways that you can help support the financial needs of our PTO budget - and it simply involves eating and shopping!
2) Eat out on Restaurant Nights
Make one night a month easy for you and your family. Our PTO has teamed up with Culver's, Red Savoy and Chipotle in Lakeville one day a month for a fundraising event that helps support our school. Each restaurant will donate a portion of all proceeds from the day's sales to our school! Be sure to mention "Orchard Lake" at checkout. Spread the word - tell your friends, family and neighbors and help support our school - simply by grabbing lunch or dinner!

3) Annual Plant Sale
Plant your garden and support our school! Fill in your outdoor spaces with Eisele Greenhouse Inc.'s high quality products—they also make excellent gifts for Mother’s Day and other spring occasions. This year’s selection features a variety of plants for sun or shade, including hanging baskets, bedding plants and patio-ready planters. Keep an eye out in April for an order form!
